Dr. Elie Saad is the Managing Director of LANXESS Middle East GmbH in Dubai, UAE. Dr. Saad began his career with Bayer twentytwo years ago in the USA in the area of Ceramics research. With the creation of Lanxess in 2005, Dr. Saad became the North American Head of the Functional Chemicals Business Unit, and in 2006 moved to Leverkusen, Germany, to take over as the global Head of the Polymer Additives Business. In October 2010, Dr. Saad was nominated to his current post.
